In the 2026 election, which is for officers that begin service on July 1st, 2026, the following positions are available:
President Elect: Serves 2026-27 as President-elect, 2027-28 as President and 2028-29 as Past-President. The President-elect succeeds to the presidency. The President-Elect assumes any roles of the president as needed. When the President-Elect becomes the President, they are the chief volunteer officer of the organization.
Chief Delegate Elect: The Chief Delegate Elect serves 2026-27 as Chief Delegate Elect and then 2027-28 as Chief Delegate.
House of Delegates: WAPA gets up to three Delegates. The AAPA Delegates function as representatives of the Academy to the AAPA’s House of Delegates and report their activities to the Board of Directors.
