Mark Your Calendars: PA Day on the Hill
We’re writing to invite you to our most important event of the year: PA Day on the Hill, taking place on Friday, February 13th, 2026, in Olympia, Washington, at the Capitol building. We have reserved the Columbia Room for this crucial gathering. Please watch for upcoming email and social media posts that will provide a link to register and attend. Your attendance is extremely important. We cannot stress enough how vital it is that you make the necessary plans to join us and be part of this legislative effort. Your presence demonstrates the solidarity and commitment of our profession.
Our Legislative Priorities
This year, we are supporting two important legislative bills that directly impact our profession:
- House Bill 2127 – Sponsored by Representative Matt Marshall, this bill addresses the official title change from physician assistant to physician associate.
- House Bill 2113 – Sponsored by Representative Andrew Engel, this bill provides clarity regarding radiologic supervision for contrast-related studies in the absence of a physician.
These bills represent significant steps forward for our profession, and we need a strong showing of support to ensure their success.
